Jung

Hoyeon

I think I'm a person who likes to express myself to people. When I do modelling, I can express something through camera.

Numéro:
- What are your plans for the future?
Hoyeon:
- These days I'm very interested in acting so I'm taking classes for acting! Maybe someday you can see me on the screen.
Numéro:
- What does modeling give you?
Hoyeon:
- Friends from different countries. From that experiences, I learned how to respect the other culture and also my culture. And then I tried to find my identity as a person who is from Korea and working in different places.
Numéro:
- What kind of difficulties you face in modeling?
Hoyeon:
- I think the biggest difficulty is health care. Sometimes you have to travel whole world in few days and it gives you jatlag, indigestion and swelling.. So you gotta take care your health yourself. And maybe it's not a job that consists. That means there's no guarantee that I can have a job tomorrow. So need to stay strong and always trust yourself! And I think it's better to know what you're gonna do for free time!
Numéro:
- How would you describe sexuality?
Hoyeon:
- It is something inside from a person who knows well who you are. I think person who knows well who he is, where he's from and what he's done can have confidence and be a wise person and that wisdom and confidence make the person sexy.
Numéro:
- How you came into modeling?
Hoyeon:
- I was on the TV show called 'Korea's next top model'. While I was on that show it was hard to stay strong and trust myself in between the crazy competition. It was one of the hardest experiences I've ever had! But from that experience I've learned many things about modeling and even about life and relationships! It was a literally 'no pain, no gain' experience. I always try to remember that moment so I can think and live positively.
Numéro:
- Which of the photographers would you like to work with?
Hoyeon:
- Of course I love to work with 'Mok Jung wook' who is the photographer for this story. Also i like Martin Parr's work, Parkjongha's work and Remi Lamande's work.
