There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who has confidence and is able to show the world what she is made of.
Numéro:
- Adriana, we are so proud to have you as our Invited Editor for the Women Empowerment issue. You are the role model for the most of women in the world. Your brilliant career and pure heart are empowering us to be better, to be stronger! And what inspires you?
Adriana:
- Thank you so much for having me as this issue's cover and Invited Editor. I feel constantly empowered and inspired by the women around me, but most especially by my two daughters who make me want to be better every day.
Numéro:
- Your career has started at 13th years old. Did you feel responsibility or you had an opportunity to enjoy your childhood?
Adriana:
- I did start my career at a young age, but I definitely think that I had a great childhood enjoying my family, friends and the beauty of nature around me in Brazil. The benefit of working at a young age was that I learned responsibility and work ethic early on in life.
Numéro:
- We have noticed that on Instagram, you congratulated Amanda Nunis (Brazilian fighter of mixed martial arts, acting under the auspices of "UFC") with a victory. What do women's battles mean to you in the modern world of equality? And how important is it to be able to stand up for yourself?
Adriana:
- Yes, Amanda is an incredible athlete and dear friend of mine. I think that women are stronger than they have been told they are and they battle physical and mental battles every day. The important thing is to keep focusing on that strength to overcome the obstacles that life throws at you.
Numéro:
- What motivates you to move on every day?
Adriana:
- Again, this would have to be my two daughters.
Numéro:
- Long time ago you wanted to become a nun. As far as we know, you take the Bible backstage and read it before going to the light. What does this mean for you?
Adriana:
- A very long time ago, yes, this was something I considered. I don't quite take the bible with me backstage, but I continue to be very spiritual and says prayers before any major event in my life whether it's for my career or personal life.
Numéro:
-You really love your daughters, would you like them to follow in your footsteps of modeling?
Adriana:
- I would support them in anything they wanted to do. If it's modeling, I would help guide them in any way I could.
Numéro:
- You were raised by your mother, she must be really strong woman and love you very much. What does motherhood mean for you? How important is for woman to be a mother?
Adriana:
- Motherhood is the most important job to me. I feel a great sense of responsibility to be a role model and provider for my children so that they one day understand what hard work looks like and can pass that on to their children.
"I would support my daughters in anything they wanted to do. If it's modeling, I would help guide them in any way I could"
Numéro:
- You are a top-model, how hard was to achieve this? Is it a hard work or a great luck?
Adriana:
- Being a "top-model" as you say, is not easy. It take a lot of hard work, time and sacrifice to achieve success. You also need to be surrounded by people who support you.
Numéro:
- Nowadays modelling is changing, more and more popular is becoming a digital modelling as well as virtuals models. What is your opinion about this? How will it work in the future?
Adriana:
- I believe that there is a space for all of us. I think the digital age is very interesting and people who have been working in the business need to embrace that this is the way of the future. I would happily do a cover 5 years from now with the top real life and virtual supermodels. Why not?
Numéro:
- After your enormous success you have decided to make a new turn in your in career, what’s going to be the next?
Adriana:
- I love being a mom and entrepreneur. I really want to continue to use my work in a positive way and work on projects that are authentic to who I am and help other women feel good. I think the sky is the limit for what that can be at this point.
Numéro:
- What can you say about the attitude of a modern woman to herself? Once you said that you are tired of what society forces us to be, how you force yourself to behave and how you look. What exactly did you mean?
Adriana:
- Women have been told how to look, what to wear, how to act, when they should get married and have kids and much more for centuries. I love that women are breaking free from the molds that have been created for them and making their own rules and timelines.
Numéro:
- What is the real women’s beauty for you?
Adriana:
- Confidence. There is nothing more beautiful than a woman who has confidence and is able to show the world what she is made of.
"I love that women are breaking free from the molds that have been created for them and making their own rules and timelines."
Numéro:
- In this feminine world that is growing so fast now how do you see the role of the man cloth to her?
Adriana:
- I believe that men and women need to support each other. I don't think it's one-sided. As human-beings, we need to respect and care for one another in order to co-exist and make the world a better place for future generations.
Numéro:
- Adriana, what was your last dream that came true? And what are you dreaming about now?
Adriana:
- I think that I'm living in my dream come true right now. I am in such a good place in my life and I feel so blessed and I hope that good things just keep coming my way.
